When the Stratocaster first saw the light of day in 1954, the iconic Fender Poodle Case was standard equipment on the very first Strat models. As part of the Classic series, Fender is now reissuing the historic guitar case, giving the historic design some modernized upgrades in the process. With its sturdy birch plywood construction and water-repellent faux cowhide exterior, the Poodle Case offers ideal protection for the instrument, while the red plush interior features a handy accessory compartment. The harmonious look, on the other hand, is provided by gold-coloured metal fittings, a comfortable carrying handle and, of course, the space-saving silhouette of the classic Poodle Case.
