The Fender Closet Classic '68 Precision Bass Pink Paisley from the hands of Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilder Jason Smith convinces not only with its sensational finish, but also with the appointments of the "Telecaster Bass", which is an authentic new edition of the originalreci from 1952. Accordingly, the four-string has an ash body and a screwed maple neck with a strong profile, while a Fender single coil pickup takes over the electrical tone conversion. Last but not least, the Fender '68 Pink Paisley Precision Bass has traditional hardware equipment in the form of the proven 4-Saddle Bass Bridge and precise Open Gear tuners.

The neck from Quarter Sawn Maple is screwed to the ash body. The back of the bass is also wrapped in the pink paisley finish.

Fender '68 Precision Bass

For the construction of the Fender'68 Precision Bass, Jason Smith uses the classic ingredients. Accordingly, the body is made of ash, whereby the "Slab Body" design with two cutaways does without contours. The fourfold bolted neck is made of maple with standing annual rings (Quartersawm Maple) and with the strong "1955 P-Bass Soft V" profile is full but comfortable in the hand.

In the middle position, Fender 1955 P-Bass Single Coil provides authentic vintage sounds with historically correct coverage. Under the second cover is the Fender Vintage Style Bridge.

Single Coil Pickup

Just like the original 1951 Precision Bass and its 1968 Telecaster Bass reissue, the Fender Closet Classic '68 Precision Bass Pink Paisley has a single single coil pickup in the middle position. On the amplifier, the Fender 1955 Precision Bass Relic Single Coil convinces with an assertive sound whose organic dynamics support expressive bass playing. The classic passive switching with Master Volume and Master Tone controls can be used to call up a wide range of tones.
