Fender uses a lightweight alder body and a bolt-on one-piece rift-sawn maple neck. The comfortable "11/56 Soft V" neck profile and the compound radius that increases from 7.25" to 9.5" create the best conditions for smooth playability. With two hand-wound Fender Tomatillo single-coils in the neck and middle position and the slightly sharper Fender Ancho Poblano single-coil at the bridge, this Fender Custom '50s Strat delivers hot vintage sound with high transparency and lively dynamics, creating the perfect foundation for blues and rock.
