I personally prefer vintage thinline straps, and this Fender model fits the bill completely. As can be seen theres a shoulder pad, which actually isnt all that padded that might not be so good for Les Paul or certain bass guitar players, but for the Epiphone and Fenders I own its fine! The finishing of the leather is good, and for the price, it gets my wholehearted recommendation. (I own 5 of these!)
