With the Fender Limited Edition 1959 Heavy Relic Roasted Strat RW Aged Fiesta Red, the Fender Custom Shop is sending a special interpretation of the legendary Strat into the race on the occasion of the NAMM Show 2019, combining classic end-50s style with interesting details. The electric guitar has a light alder body, while the neck is made of roasted maple. The heat treatment causes the maple wood to lose a large part of its residual moisture, so that the neck is not only insensitive to climatic fluctuations, but also contributes significantly to the resonant sound image. In addition, the "'59 Esquire C" profile promises the best playing conditions across the entire rosewood fretboard. Three hand-wound Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Single-Coil pickups deliver a hot sound at the guitar amplifier, whose profession is undoubtedly the powerful licks of blues and rock. Thanks to the ToneSaver Treble Bleed circuit on the volume control, the sound retains its full treble even when the guitar volume is removed. Last but not least a Fender American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo and Fender Vintage-Style-Mechanics complete the Fender Limited Edition 1959 Heavy Relic Roasted Strat.
