The design of the American Showcase Telecaster Fender pays special attention to a classic sound and especially comfortable playing characteristics. While the alder body features a traditional slab-body design, the bolt-on maple neck not only features a "Compound Modern C to D" profile that flattens out toward the higher registers, but also a flat 12" fretboard radius, so chords and single-note licks come off with ease.
Powerful V-Mod pickups
The electrical tone conversion of the American Showcase Telecaster is handled by two V-Mod single-coils with significantly increased output, which were designed especially for this guitar. Accordingly, the guitar amp delivers a powerful Telecaster sound with that coveted twang that not only makes clean licks sound assertive, but also brings overdrive tones to life. The volume control of the classic 3-way circuit is equipped with a treble-bleedcircuit so that no treble losses spoil the sound enjoyment when the volume is turned down.
Hardware between classic and modern
Last but not least, the Fender completes the American Showcase Telecaster RW Sky Burst Metallic electric guitar with reliable hardware that skillfully combines classic and modern designs.
