The preamp equipped with three 12AX7 tubes guarantees a full sound image with high transparency and detail, whereby the 3-band tone control in conjunction with the fat switch to Boost the mids provides a wide range of clean and bluesy crunching tones. Softly tuned, the integrated spring reverb of the Fender Blues Junior IV Western provides additional shimmering reverbs, while maintaining harmonic spaciousness even at high settings. The proven 15 watts of power from two EL84 tubes are delivered through the aforementioned twelve-inch Eminence Cannabis Rex speaker , whose smooth, laid-back sound is an excellent complement to the sound character of the Blues Junior.
