The Fender Limited Edition Classic 50s Stratocaster Lefthand MN 2-Tone Sunburst left-handed electric guitar radiates the charm of the golden 1950s. Accordingly, the "Contour Body" made of lime with its round contours lies comfortably on the body, while the one-piece maple neck is screwed together in the classic manner and, thanks to the "Slim C" profile, proves to be a comfortable companion. The Strat, made in Japan, proves to be a supplier of authentic vintage sounds for blues or rock thanks to the three Fender single coil pickups. Last but not least, the Fender Classic 50s Stratocaster features the Vintage Style Synchronized Tremolo and Vintage Style tuners.
Fender Limited Edition Classic 50s Stratocaster Lefthand MN 2-Tone SunburstNot many models at this price have the soft V neck profile, which is great for blues play and bending strings. The 1-Ply pickguard makes it look truly vintage. I find the stock pickups to be a bit squeaky, but with a good set of SC pups the guitar sings.
All in all it is a very nice instrument. It plays well, the factory setup is ok.
The price is excellent.
THIS is the one I should have choosen if I knew where it is made, probably in Mexico. The normal Fenders are made in the Stes, but the prices are then from 2k to 3k and higher. Let me say the prices are rather equal to the prices here stated. So I choosed the Jack & Danny version of Vintage Deluxe series, 1/4 of this price...Do they sound equal, yes, the looks are nearlt the same, only the servce manual lacks...so why bother.
