In collaboration with Fender, Marr has created the Limited Edition Johnny Marr Special Jaguar RW Black a signature Jaguar that combines classic offset design with modern performance. Featuring a high-gloss black nitrocellulose finish, hand-wound Kent Armstrong lipstick pickups, and Marr’s custom circuitry, this guitar is both a collector’s item and a playable homage to Marr’s iconic sound.

High-quality construction and genuine vintage feel
The guitar features an alder body with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius. The neck profile, based on Marr’s original ’65 Jaguar, delivers an authentic vintage feel while offering modern playability. It has 22 vintage frets, a synthetic bone nut, and a 24″ scale for comfortable string tension and precise intonation. Hardware highlights include a Jaguar bridgewith Mustang saddles and a floating tremolo tailpiece for expressive vibrato, six-in-line American Vintage tuners, and a chrome-plated bridge cover. The cream 3-ply pickguard and ivory fingerboard inlays complete the classic, elegant aesthetic.

At its core, the Johnny Marr Special Jaguar RW Black features custom-wound Kent Armstrong Lipstick pickups paired with Marr’s signature circuitry. The 4-position blade switch allows selection of bridge, neck, or combined pickups in series or parallel, while three slide switches (Universal Bright, Bright Boost for position 4, and Middle Pickup On/Off/Only) provide further tonal shaping.
