The Limited Edition P-Bass Special JRN RW Aged Sherwood Green Metallic from the FenderCustom store in Corona, California comes packaged in a FenderBass case with a PJ pickup setup, premium tonewoods and classic Fender vintage feel. In addition to its tasteful design, the bass driver offers amp-through tones via two hand-wound Fender 70s pickups and PJ electrics, while a Quarter-Sawn-Maple neck in a 60s U-profile with rosewood fingerboard promises comfortable handling. Completing the P-Bass Special are its historically accurate chrome appointments and Journeyman Aging, which gives the Sherwood Green Metallic finish and Hardware parts a special Vintage character.
The Fender Custom Shop's Journeyman Aging features authentic paint cracks and hardware usage marks.

Structure and Composition
Composed of traditional elements of the P-Bass, a Quarter-Sawn Maple neck in the 60s 'U' neck profile offers a special playing experience. The 20 frets of the overlying rosewood fingerboard are adorned with beautiful pearloid block inlays in contrast to the dark wood. The headstock also presents itself in Sherwood Green Metallic, just like the alder body. With the 34-inch long scale length, the iconic P-Bass thus offers enough room to groove.
The authentic "Lollipop" tuning machines complete the appearance of the P-Bass and ensure stable intonation.
Custom Shop Pickups and Features
A Handwound 70s Precision Basspickup in middle position and a '75 Jazz Bridge pickup are responsible for the sound transformation of the P-Bass Special, delivering an expressive FenderBass growl. VintageLollipop tuners work with the Fender RSD-Designed HiMass bridge for rich Sustain and tonal stability. Last but not least, a pickup cover sits over the split coil in middle position and offers a distinctive feel with a black tug bar.
