The Fender Made in Japan International Color Series revives the extremely short-lived series from 1981 and thus makes freshly colourful colours like Monaco Yellow and Maui Blue with classic characteristics of the late seventies available again in limited edition.
Thus, the FenderMade in Japan International Color Jazz Bass in Maui Blue impresses with its eye-catching finish, optimal playability, and classic Fender feel and sound. The basswood body is triple-bolted to a comfortable mapleneck, whose neck curve can be precisely adjusted with the built-in Micro-Tilt mechanism. Furthermore, two vintage-style J-Bass pickups on the amp provide the Fender groove.
The Made in Japan LTD Jazz Bass International Color Maui Blue from Fender offers a familiar feel with its traditional build.
The offset body with belly cut fits perfectly and stands out with the limited finish.
Micro-Tilt Mechanism
For the Made in Japan series, Fender has of course remained true to the classic specifications, but some details have crept in as a tribute to the seventies. Accordingly, the bolt-on maple neck is equipped with a three-bolt neckplate and micro-tilt mechanism, which allows precise adjustments of the neck curve through access in the neck slot. The historic 'U' neck also makes it comfortable to hold. Large pearloid block inlays add the finishing touch to the appearance of the MIJ LTD International Color Jazz Bass in Maui Blue.
Instead of on the neckplate, the serial number on the Made in Japan Series is on the front of the headstock.

The Made in Japan LTD Jazz Bass International Color Maui Blue is the ideal instrument for any genre with stable FenderHardware and optimal tonal conditions. Two vintage-style single-coil pickups are responsible for the sound conversion and offer the optimal deep Vintage Fender sound, which can be adjusted via two volume and one master tone control. A vintage-style bridge with four single-notch string tracers further provides optimal tuning stability and intonation of all four strings in cooperation with vintage tuners on the headstock.
