Juicy rock riffs and hot lead sounds with authentic tube dynamics are the specialty of the Fender MTG:LA Tube Distortion. Designed in collaboration with amp guru Bruce Egnater, the pedal, like the MTG Distortion, is based on an analog circuit with a US-manufactured NOS 6205 preamp tube and produces classic Los Angeles 80s rock sounds with a distinctive "appetite" character. A gain control and a 2-band equalizer consisting of bass and treble controls are available for sound shaping, while the tight control clears the low-end range for higher gain settings. In addition, there is a boost section on board the Fender MTG:LA, which allows the distortion circuit to be fired up with extra signal strength for endless sustain.
