Fender FENDER NAMM '17 '59 Heavy Relic Strat with Roasted Maple Neck

The most conspicuous feature of the Fender Namm '17 '59 Heavy Relic Strat is undoubtedly the neck made of thermally treated maple, also known as the Roasted Maple known. Baking the wood in a special vacuum oven not only gives it its caramel brown colour, but also significantly increases its stability and resistance to climatic fluctuations. With its strong "'59 C" Esquire profile, the neck also fits snugly and comfortably in the hand. The body, Aged Fiesta Red wrapped in the wafer-thin nitrocellulose finish, is also made of selected, light alder.

Texas Special Single Coils for hot sound

As pickup for the Fender FENDER NAMM '17 Heavy Relic '59 Stratocaster RW Aged Fiesta Red the Custom Shop three Texas Special Single coils in the hand-wound Custom Shop version were used. With them, the electric guitar delivers a particularly hot Single Coil sound on the amplifier, which with cleanly articulated basses, strong mids and bell-like highs provides the perfect basis for burning blues licks and rocking riffs. The pickups, which are mounted in a stylish Aluminium pickguard, are controlled classically via a volume and two tone control, whereby the tone saver Treble Bleed Circuit prevents loss of treble when reducing the volume.

Fender Vintage style Hardware

The Fender Heavy Relic '59 Stratocaster is completed by higher Hardware quality in authentic Vintage style. Accordingly, the strings on the body are held by the classic American Vintage synchronized Fender Tremolo , which can be used to decorate chords and melodies with gently shimmering pitch vibratos. After bridging the classic 25.5" scale length (648 mm), the strings are guided to the precise Vintage Style Fender tuners via a bone saddle on the headstock.
