Construction and woods

To ensure that all frequencies are unfolded in a clear and defined manner, the construction consists of a solid Sitka spruce top on a laminated mahogany body. Thanks to a flat scalloped X-bracing, the tone unfolds quickly and persistently, so that even light touches produce an amazing sound result. At the same time, the flat mahogany neck with a slim 'C' profile guarantees extremely accommodating playing comfort. A cutaway also allows optimal access to the highest of the 20 frets.

Hardware and Design

Another quality feature is the saddle and the 43 mm wide nut made of GraphTech Nubone, which provide a clean intonation on the whole 650 mm scale. Furthermore, the nickel tuners are very easy to use and allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. The headstock of the Newporter Player comes in a beautiful 70's E-guitar look and gives the guitar a very individual appearance. To emphasize the finish and to give the instrument a noble touch, the top is adorned with a 3-ply gold pickguard.

Electronics

The active Fishman pickup system is equipped with a side preamp. This allows a precise adjustment of the bass and treble frequencies and is conveniently equipped with a tuner. A large LED display shows the respective pitch.
