Fender's Paramount series includes three different standard and deluxe designs. The Dreadnought, 000 and Parlor models are available in Natural or Vintage Sunburst. All solid instruments not only offer an astonishingly resonant sound for the price, but also offer optical refinements such as checkerboard bindings or mother-of-pearl Concert Tone inlays.
The Paramount PM-2 Deluxe Parlor has a solid Sitka spruce top and an equally solid body made of ostidic rosewood, which gives the compact design an astonishingly resonant and open-sounding appearance. A mahogany neck in the traditional "C" profile ultimately ensures pleasant playability in all positions;

Of course Fender in the deluxe version also provides some eye-catchers in the form of bindings, purflings and rosette decorations in the classic Fender Checkerboard design. Concert Tone inlays in mother-of-pearl and the classic Fender logo in the style of the 1940s complete the vintage look of the Deluxe Parlor.
Also on board is a PM system developed in cooperation with pickup giant Fishman for use with recording devices, amplifiers or effects. Besides the included 3-band equaliser, the pickup system has an integrated tuner.
Features:
Fender PM-2 Deluxe Parlour NaturalPleased with the instrument, which was purchased as a travel guitar, and for that purpose is ideal, attractive styling and came well set up, however, the very very thick gloss coating on both the guitar and the neck is the one downside for me because it gives the instrument a plastic feel (rather than wood)
