The Fender PM-3CE Triple-0 Black Top Limited produces a very powerful sound thanks to its all-massive construction, which unfolds quickly and over a wide area with the help of a flat scalloped X-bracing. In addition, the compact mahogany body conveys warm bass and midrange frequencies, making the 000 Western guitar excellent for bluesy Pickings and light strumming. Meanwhile, the flat neck, which is equipped with a grippy profile, ensures particularly easy playability. Furthermore, a generous cutaway provides optimized access to all 20 frets. Visually, the instrument is rounded off by filigree inlay work and a wafer-thin matt finish. A case is included in delivery.

Construction and woods

So that the PM-3 can produce an extensive and at the same time balanced sound, the individual components of the body are made of solid mahogany. The mahogany neck comes with an Ovangkol fingerboard, which has enough space so that even complex fingering patterns can be mastered easily.

Hardware and Design

Thanks to a compensated saddle and a 44.5 mm wide saddle made of bone, the acoustic guitar intonates cleanly and precisely over the entire scale length of 643 mm. At the same time the nickel-plated tun ers guarantee an easy tuning of the 6 steel strings. The top is bordered with a fine checkerboard binding that perfectly matches the soundhole rosette. In addition, the soundhole is bordered by an extensive tortoise pickguard that perfectly matches the black finish of the top.
