The body of the Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS is crafted from alder, offering a balanced tone that pairs perfectly with the bolt-on maple neck featuring a modern "C" profile, ensuring excellent handling and comfort. The rosewood fretrboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius, making it ideal for fast playing and smooth chord transitions. As for hardware, the Stratocaster stays true to its iconic design with the classic 2-point tremolo, allowing for expressive vibrato effects, whether for subtle nuances or bold, dramatic sounds. The Player II Modified Stratocaster features a versatile pickup configuration, with a Player II Modified Humbucker in the bridge position and two Player II Noiseless Single Coils in the middle and neck positions. Both the humbucker and single coils deliver the signature Stratocaster brilliance, with crisp attack and vocal highs, making both clean and overdriven tones exceptionally dynamic. Mexican Fenders seem to be the real deal and offer great value for money. The noiseless pickups sound awesome. Only small flaw that the humbacker is not exactly noiseless and a barely audible hum can be heard. Otherwise excellent craftsmanship and very well put together. Maybe the greatest Mexican Fender as far as I know. Play mainly classic rock and some metal and I am hugely satisfied.Olympic pearl color is even prettier from up close. Music Store provided excellent service according to my expectations.
