While the swinging-styled alder body and the bolt-on "Modern C" maple neck promise excellent playing characteristics, Fender Fireball humbuckers together with the active 3-band Equalizer provide a broad spectrum of first-class tones. Besides a HiMass bridge classic standard Open-Gear bass tuners complete the Player Plus Active Meteora Bass from Fender.

Based on the self-confident Meteora design that first took the stage in 2018 as part of the Parallel Universe series, the Player Plus Meteora Bass impresses not only with crisp sound characteristics but also with surprisingly comfortable handling. While the alder body sits comfortably on the body thanks to generous bevels on the front and back, the wide cutaway promises unhindered playability of the highest registers. Thanks to the slim "Modern C" profile and the satin-finished back, the bolt-on maple neck also offers the best conditions for implementing classic and modern playing techniques without any problems.

Powerful sound through Fireball pickups

The Player Plus Active Meteora Bass elicits an amazingly wide range of powerful Bass sounds from the bass amplifier. Responsible for this are the Fender Fireball humbuckers specially developed for the Bass, which with four pole pieces per string deliver the typical Fender growl and a crisp Attack for expressive grooves and thereby both plectrum and finger play as well as slaps and pops skillfully convert. and the tone can be optimally adjusted, Fender equips the Player Plus Meteora Bass also with an active 3-band EQ. The mini-switch can also be used to set the electric bass guitar to the traditional passive mode.
