Telecaster electric guitar with two humbuckers from Fender Player series
Its raw and powerful character made the Telecaster not only the weapon of choice for many country, Blues and rock guitarists, but also a distinctive icon among electric guitars. Fender's Player Telecaster combines the best of Vintage and modernity, presenting traditional and hand-shaped body dimensions, while two Player Series humbuckers with Alnico 2 magnets provide enough steam for sounds of blues, rock and metal. In terms of playing technique, a modern C-profile provides better handling in lead playing and thanks to an additional 22nd fret more possibilities on the fretboard made of Pau Ferro.

This is a great guitar, and well set up out of the box. I didn't notice any pain points, like sharp frets on the bottom of the neck as described in other reviews (not on this website). The guitar was playable straight away, even though the factory strings are way too light for my liking and style. A proper set up will be coming soon though, but I was delighted to give it a good try as is when I received it. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the pau ferro fingerboard, it looks a bit cheap. Otherwise, great sounds can be obtained from the pick-ups, both in series and parallel modes, and the color scheme looks really nice. I'm not a guitarist for starters, I'm a bassist, so I don't really know if these would compare to "real" telecasters with dual single coil pickups. I do find there's some twang though in series mode on the bridge pickup. First time I ever buy a guitar brand new, and I don't regret it one bit!

The guitar is great - sounds awesome, as is expected from Fender Telecaster.
Craftsmanship and packaging however could be better. I had some minor bumps and scratches on the fretboard and headstock. Maybe due to inefficient packaging and careless shipping.
