The Fender Quantum LT 16 is a USB C audio interface for anyone who does not just want to record one song, but an entire band, a drum set with many microphones or a hybrid setup combining hardware and a DAW. With 16 inputs and 8 outputs, the interface is clearly aimed at ambitious studios, rehearsal rooms with recording needs and producers who prefer to have everything connected at the same time. The focus is on clarity, sound quality and a workflow that keeps moving and never gets in the way.
At the heart of the unit are eight newly developed MAX HD microphone preamps. With up to 75 dB of gain, they are ideally suited for dynamic microphones and very quiet signals. Vocals, acoustic guitars, overheads or complex microphone setups can be captured cleanly and with great detail, without pushing the gain to its limits. The sound remains open, controlled and pleasantly neutral, exactly what you want as a solid foundation for later processing.
In addition to the microphone inputs, the Quantum LT 16 offers a total of 14 analog line inputs. Synthesizers, drum machines, external preamps or a small mixing console can remain permanently connected, eliminating the need for constant reconnection. The combination of combo sockets on the front and TRS line inputs on the rear, with switchable +4 dBu or -10 dBV levels, is especially practical. There are also two dedicated instrument inputs for guitar and bass on the front. These high impedance DI inputs are perfectly matched to the MAX HD preamps and capture passive pickups cleanly and dynamically, without the need for an additional DI box.

The interface offers more than USB audio functionality. In Mic Pre mode, the Quantum LT 16 operates as a standalone 8 channel microphone preamp without requiring a computer. This makes it ideal for hybrid rigs, live recording or expanding an existing audio interface. A mixer mode is also available, allowing the device to function as a digital mixer even without a DAW. This is a significant advantage for rehearsal rooms or permanent installations.
With DC coupled line outputs, the Quantum LT 16 connects seamlessly to the modular synthesis world. Control voltages can be sent directly from the DAW to analog synthesizers. Classic 5 pin MIDI input and output are included for keyboards, drum machines and sequencers. Loopback audio is also built in for streaming, content creation or recording tutorials, neatly integrated without the need for external software.
The package includes a perpetual license for Fender Studio Pro, complete with exclusive Mustang and Rumble plugins. This ensures that the Quantum LT 16 is ready for immediate use, whether for recording, mixing or songwriting.
Whether for multitrack recording, hybrid setups or extensive hardware integration, the Fender Quantum LT 16 is an audio interface designed to grow with your needs. It is aimed at musicians and producers who take their setup seriously and are looking for a stable, sonically clean foundation. No unnecessary extras, just a reliable tool that earns a permanent place in the rack and delivers day after day.
