The Fender Super Champ X2 HD (Black & Silver) is an Amplifier Head for Electric Guitar which combines the sonic advantages of a Tube Circuit with the infinite variety of Digital Modelling. Channel 1 employs a 12AX7 Tube in the Pre-Amp delivers the extremely transparent Clean sound of the Blackface era, whilst Channel 2 (with a total of 16x voicings) covers both authentic Vintage Clean and Overdrive sounds, as well as modern High-Gain. In addition to the classic 2-Band Tone Control, an extensive Effects section is also available, ranging from Delay, Reverb and Chorus to Tremolo and Vibrato. The Power-Amp of the Super Champ X2 draws a total of 15W from 2x 6V6 Tubes, which in combination with the 10" Special Design Speaker guarantee a powerful sound with high assertiveness and sufficient volume reserves for band rehearsals or club sessions.

I dont play live with others very often, so cannot speak to the applicability of this amp at a live gig, but the sound is outstanding for an amp at this price. The 15 amp voicings give a great amount of versatility, although a few are chintzy and I would not use (like 90s metal).
Still, extremely pleased.
