of a guitar I would only suggest using it for home storage or traveling to a pub gig. The gig bag is perfect for everything except shipping big gigs or tours. I recommend a hard case for that purpose.Worth every cent and more.
I own fender strats and i usualy use hard cases. But this fender bag is a great way to move around with your guitar. Its practical and very protective, now i use it a lot and leave my hard cases for long trips or tours... whorth every cent.
