The quad-bolted maple neck features a mid-'60s-'C' neck profile also in keeping with the era, granting the picking hand absolute control in all positions. Here, the Bass VI can call up even more sound facets than the Stratocaster, which is also equipped with three single-coils, because all three pickups have individual on/off switches and can be combined completely freely.
