The Focal Alpha 50 Evo is a professional studio monitor with a 5" woofer and compact dimensions. It impresses with its handsome woofer, newly designed and manufactured by Focal, which is capable of a more linear frequency response with increased dynamic range compared to the previous series.
Compared to most other monitors in its class, the Alpha 50 Evo achieves a wider dispersion angle with even frequency distribution throughout the room. Ideal for working on a hardware setup or with multiple people. Thanks to front bass reflex port, it can also be placed very close to the wall. A switchable auto-standby function is also built in and automatically turns off the power amplifiers after no signal has been applied for 15 minutes.
Thanks to the powerful Class-D power amplifiers with a total of 50W continuous power and the serious bass range, the Alpha 50 Evo achieves a considerable listening volume with sufficient low end for bass-heavy music despite its size.
Nevertheless, Focal has continued to pay attention to classic parameters such as signal fidelity and low distortion, so that good-sounding productions and mixes can still be created with this speaker, even on a small scale.
