Purchased these for mixing purposes, they are bass heavy and have there own unique sound
But I use them with Sonar sound ID that gives them a flat curve so they sound great , they take some time to break in , but the sound gets better every day , build quality is great but comfort wise I can only wear them for an hour at a time ,
did a hella lot of research and was wary, but the purchase paid off! great cans for mixing... the fidelity of how the mix sounds through these translates really well in the final results on other systems.
