It is equipped with 6 In- and Outputs as well as some very handy features like latencyfree monitoring, individual volume control for the two headphone Outputs and many more. The Scarlett 6i6 got 2 Line-, 2 microphone- / intrument-Inputs, MIDI I/O and S/PDIF I/O. Furthermore it comes with 4 Line- and 2 headphone Outputs.
