The Class A input stage, which is centered around a 2N5457 JFET, promises lively dynamics that react excellently with single coils and humbuckers and do not distort the character of the instrument. The output of the Fulltone OCD V2 also features a buffer amp, which is always active in "Enhanced Bypass" mode or is activated with the effect in "True Bypass" mode. It prevents signal losses from occurring in the effects arranged after the Fulltone OCD in the case of long cable runs, while at the same time reducing the electrical load on the clipping stage and thus extending the Sustain of distortion.
