G&L USA Asat Classic Bluesboy: Classic construction with high playing comfort

For the construction of the G&L Asat Classic Bluesboy the Californian guitar builders rely on classical ingredients for a high playing comfort. The body is made of alder and, thanks to OLS (Original Leo Spec), has a depth of 41 mm, which, in conjunction with forearm and rear body contour, ensures a pleasant playing comfort. This continues with the screwed maple neck, which lies comfortably in the hand with the "Modern Classic" profile, so that every note on the rosewood fingerboard goes off the fingers easily.

Versatile sounds with G&L pickups

For the pickups of the G&L USA Asat Classic Bluesboy, G&L relies on a humbucker and a single coil from their own production, which together provide a versatile sound for every musical style between blues, pop and rock. The G&L A2S428N Humbucker, equipped with Alnico II magnets, convinces with a warm vintage sound on the neck, which reacts with airy dynamics to the player and thus supports expressive solo playing just as skilfully as fat rhythm work. The G&L MFD Single Coil on the bridge, on the other hand, delivers a brilliant sound with a crisp attack that lets every note shine through the band sound.

High-quality hardware from our own company

The equipment of the G&L Asat Classic Blues Boy is completed by high-quality hardware, which is also produced in-house. Accordingly, the G&L Boxed-Steel bridge sits on the body, which not only supports the lively tone development of the electric guitar with string guidance through the body and six brass string riders, but also ensures a perfect adjustment of intonation and string position. At the head plate, the strings are also guided via a bone saddle to the precisely working G&L mechanisms with a transmission ratio of 12:1.
