The carefully modernized retro design of the G&L JB-2 promises high playability and a lively sound. Featuring a slightly offset waist, the poplar body not only impresses with perfect balance on the strap and thigh, but also carries a beautiful ash veneer for that elegant look. The bolt-on maple neck conveys extremely agile playing characteristics with its slim "Modern C" profile and 38 mm nut width, so that any Bassline can be implemented with ease on the 21-fret maple fingerboard.

At the bass amp, the Tribute JB-2 from G&L presents itself as an absolute all-rounder that has the right sound ready for almost every genre. Responsible for this are two G&L Alnico single coils in bridge and middle position, whose signals can be freely mixed via separate volume controls, so that a wide sound spectrum is available from abysmal low-end punch to wiry presence tone.
