The Genelec 8331AW is an ultra-compact 3-way monitor designed for post-production and broadcast applications. Its coaxial design delivers a true point source of sound with a perfectly linear, coloration-free frequency response, ensuring reliable mix evaluation and fatigue-free listening. A large sound path provides a wide listening area and excellent stereo imaging, while two oval bass drivers maintain optimal directivity down to the lowest frequencies. The monitor can be positioned horizontally or vertically, and its robust die-cast aluminum enclosure minimizes resonance. Rounded cabinet edges further prevent coloration, and a built-in protective circuit safeguards the speaker against high playback levels.

Individual room adjustment

Room-related issues can be minimized with DSP filters or precise calibration using the GLM2 measurement microphone and software. The included IsoPod base decouples the monitor from the surface, and the speaker can be tilted and accurately aimed at the listening position for optimal performance.
