Gibson Les Paul Standard VOS: Long Neck Tenon and Hide Glue

For the construction of the Gibson Les Paul Standard, the Custom Shop relies on the proven ingredients for this model. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a one-piece mahogany body with a solid curly maple top, while the neck is made of one piece mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. By using a long neck foot and glass hard "Hot Hide Glue" this Les Paul also has a lively response and an endlessly singing sustain.

Custom Bucker for the PAF Sound

On the amplifier, the Gibson Les Paul Standard VOS Figured Top delivers authentic vintage sounds thanks to the two Gibson Custom Bucker pickups. As an exact reissue of the legendary "Patend Applied For" humbuckers from the golden era of the electric guitar, these pickups convince with a warm sound that makes every sound played sing endlessly. With their airy dynamics, the pickups also place control over the tone in the player's hand, so nothing stands in the way of expressive electric guitar playing. The pickups are also controlled by 3-way switches and individual volume and tone controls.

Proven Gibson Hardware

The equipment of the Gibson Les Paul Standard Figured Top VOS is completed by proven Gibson equipment. Accordingly, the proven combination of Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminium stopbar is used on the body, which enables perfect intonation and comfortable string position. From here, the 24.75" scale length (628 mm) strings are directed towards the headstock, where they are guided to the reliable Kluson Deluxe tuners via a classic nylon saddle.
