The mahogany Les Paul features dual Soapbar P90 pickups with hard-wired circuitry for a memorable sound and comes with an authentic Lifton hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.
The legendary TV Yellow finish is not only particularly high-quality thanks to the nitrocellulose finish, but also provides a unique vintage feel in combination with VOS processing

Authentic construction
When building the 1957 Les Paul Special Single Cut Reissue, the luthiers of the Gibson Custom Shop naturally rely on historical methods and materials to recreate the sound and feel of a vintage original as faithfully as possible. The neck and body are made from carefully selected mahogany, while the use of hide glue and a thin nitro finish guarantees unrestricted sound development. The not too strong Chunky C neck profile also delivers comfortable playability all the way up the 22 fret rosewood fingerboard.

The electric sound of the 57 LP Special Reissue is delivered by two GibsonCustom P90 single coils in classic Soapbar housings. Wound to historical specs in the Custom store, these pickups impress on an amp with a powerful yet dynamic voice whose rich midrange highlights the traditional clean and overdriven tones of blues and rock. A hand wired circuit with a robust Switchcraft toggle and precise CTS audio taper pots lets you shape your own sound, while historically correct paper in oil caps provide smooth and sensitive treble roll off.

Historically correct add-on parts
