The Gibson Custom Shop naturally follows the historical specifications and manufactures the electric guitar with a one-piece mahogany body, flamed maple top and mahogany neck with long neck base. Hide-glue and a thin nitro finish guarantee a rich sound and long-lasting sustain. The not too strong "Authentic '59 Medium C" profile and the typical 12" radius of the rosewood fingerboard also make for excellent playability. Connected to an amp, two Gibson Custombuckers conjure up the typical PAF sound, whose singing midrange and lively dynamics provide the perfect foundation for the classic licks and riffs of blues and rock. A historically correct and reliable hardware configuration with the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stop bar and Kluson Deluxe machine heads completes the Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Iced Tea Burst.
