The Gibson 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS Washed Cherry Sunburst is an authentic new edition of the electric guitar that marks the last year of the legendary Holy Grails, right down to the smallest detail. Accordingly, the electric guitar has the historically correct appointments and construction features for a first-class playing feel and lively blues and rock sounds. While the one-piece mahogany body has a chic curly maple top, the glued mahogany neck features long-neck tenon and a fingerboard made of Indian rosewood. The historically correct "slim taper" profile guarantees extremely comfortable playing characteristics. Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico III magnets and a hand-wired circuit with oil-paper capacitors ensure the authentic PAF character of the sound. Last but not least, the Gibson 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue features matching hardware in the form of Kluson single line/double ring tuners and the classic combination of a no-wire ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminium stopbar tailpiece.

Accordingly, all wood joints are made with hide-glue, which guarantees optimum sound development across the entire instrument thanks to its glass-hard consistency. While the one-piece mahogany body carries a chic curly maple top, the one-piece mahogany neck is glued to the sustain-promoting long neck tenon. The slim, authentic "Slim Taper" neck profile also offers the best playing characteristics across the entire rosewood fingerboard.
