The Gibson 60s Burstbucker embodies the classic Patent Applied For Humbucker as it was wound in the early sixties at the Gibson facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This dual-coil pickup uses Alnico 5 magnets and two coils wound with classic 42 AWG wire, featuring slightly different winding counts. This unique combination gives the pickup its signature airy tonal character. Additionally, the Gibson 60s Burstbucker comes with unwaxed coils and a traditional two-wire connection cable.
