The handmade and limited Gibson Advanced Jumbo Flame Deluxe Western Guitar uses the sound of solid Sitka spruce in combination with a body of cloud maple. The classic Jumbo acoustic guitar has solid Schaller tuners and an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system.
The Gibson Advanced Jumbo Flame Deluxe's voluminous sound body consists of a solid spruce top combined with quilt maple in the back and sides. The tonewood combination, popular among Gibson instruments, produces a defined sound rich in overtones with a solid bass foundation for piano like sounds. In the proven jumbo manner, the player has an immense dynamic and articulative range at his disposal, which makes the Advanced Jumbo popular with solo artists as well as ensemble musicians and gives it a place in every mix. Last but not least, the traditional Scalloped X Bracing provides a sustainably robust, yet vibratory ceiling construction.
Gibson uses the L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system. The Element Active System-based pickup/preamp combination features a treble control with a so-called low-frequency compression circuit that compensates for any peaks in the low end range and credibly simulates the dynamic behavior of acoustic instruments. Powered by a 9V battery, the system delivers a signal that can be used via amplifiers, PA systems or recording devices.
Of course the Gibson Advanced Jumbo Flame Deluxe was equipped with optical details and best hardware of the German manufacturer Schaller. In addition to classic Schaller open-back tuners in gold-plated design, the instrument features AJ Diamonds and Arrows inlays as well as a classic pickguard in pinstripe look.
