In addition to the meticulous replicas of the True Historic series, the Gibson Custom Shop CS models are the new Custom Shop Standard models that replace the long-standing and successful Historic Collection series.

These Les Pauls are aimed at the modern player, without forgoing the typical features and characteristics of the legendary Gibson vintages from 1954 to 1960.

For the construction of the CS Les Pauls only selected woods are used, which promise a good sound and ideal weight. The one-piece mahogany Body , a quality feature rarely encountered, stands out above all. In addition, the VOS Nitrocellulose Finish ensures free vibration unfolding.

In the Gibson CS series, the neck and body are glued with "Hot Hide Glue", i.e. hot bone glue. This cures glashart and guarantees a perfect resonance transmission for the typical singing Les Paul sound with long sustain.

The Custom buckers known from the models of the Collector's Choice series come closer to the legendary PAF Humbucker than ever before and promise an airy sound with transparent warmth with different wound coils and authentic wire.
