It is regarded as a historically accurate replica of the legendary 'Patent Applied For' humbucker used in the iconic instruments of the late 1950s. For its warm and rounded tone, the Custombucker relies on Alnico III magnets and follows authentic historical production methods. The two coils of the humbucker are wound with 42 AWG wire and are unwaxed, featuring slightly different numbers of windings to give each Custombucker its unique character.
