The Gibson Explorer T 2017 Electric Guitar EB Ebony is a 6-string model featuring a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fretboard, and an ebony finish. This range of Explorer T guitars, new for 2017, is capable of producing the classic raw power, blazing tones, and thrilling sustain one would expect from this iconic instrument.

These guitars enable a high degree of playability and comfort thanks to an Explorer slim-taper mahogany neck and 22 polished frets. This fingerboard is made from rosewood and adorned with acrylic dot inlays. High speed and confidence are enabled through this guitar.

The Explorer T 2017 range is modelled in the image of the original legendary Explorer body shape and is made entirely of select mahogany. This body is adorned with strong high-gain humbucker pickups (496R and 500T) as well as top-quality chrome hardware. A classic Gibson hardshell case is included along with a Gibson multi-tool, a premium leather strap and a polishing cloth to help you keep your instrument in top condition.
