The Gibson Firebird 2018 Ebony is a 6-string electric guitar featuring a mahogany body and neck, a torrefied granadillo fingerboard and an ebony finish. This new Firebird for 2018 is packed with powerful electronics and hardware to offer a powerful modern instrument. Built with a lightweight mahogany body that delivers a warm characteristic with high end shine for solos, this Firebird features a slim taper mahogany neck and smooth torrefied granadillo fingerboard for a highly comfortable performance, sparkling highs and a thick low-end response.

A pair of bright mini-humbucker pickups deliver a huge amount of sustain and note clarity to suit a wide variety of styles and genres. The small size of these pickups is reminiscent of old humbuckers and provides players with a classic, balanced tone. An aluminium Tune-O-Matic bridge and Mini Grover tuning machines offer solid string stability, whilst a Tektoid nut enhances harmonics in the highs and mids.
