The Gibson Flying V Custom Ebony combines the iconic Flying V design with the elegant “Black Beauty” appointments found on Gibson’s custom models. This striking ebony-finish instrument features multi-layered bindings and inlays on the body, headstock, and fingerboard, while uniform gold-finish hardware provides a visually stunning contrast. In terms of sound, the Flying V Custom Ebony is equipped with two Gibson humbuckers 490R in the neck and 498T in the bridge offering a wide range of tones through traditional wiring with a 3-way switch, individual volume controls, and a shared master tone. As with every Gibson Custom Shop guitar, the Flying V Custom Ebony comes with a matching hardshell case perfectly suited to the instrument’s look.
