Under the name " Super Jumbo 200" the largest acoustic guitar that had Gibson ever been produced appeared in 1937. The SJ-200 can justifiably claim to be the most famous acoustic guitar in the world. It has taken the music world by storm, and new musicians have always found the clearly defined and uniquely balanced sound of this instrument.
A solid Sitka spruce top with even grain in combination with a solid body of chic walnut deliver a tight and round bass reproduction with nuanced mid-range and at the same time detailed highs. A large part of the ceiling construction is made up of the traditional Scalloped X bracing, which provides the bracing technique of tapered spruce struts for the stability and sound of classic 14-fret constructions.
The L.R. Baggs VTC is able to capture the natural sound of the guitar. It proves to be extremely resistant to feedback and delivers tonal fidelity and dynamics. Last but not least, a case is already included in the scope of delivery.
