The first Gibson J-35 came onto the market in 1936 as a high-quality but affordable instrument. Gibson continues the trend with the current version, and offers the J-35 with a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The tonal result is strong in mid and high frequencies, with a remarkably pronounced transparency and warmth.
For the expressive, amplified sound on stage, the L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup transfers the sound of the acoustic guitar with natural dynamics and harmonic balance. A compensated bridge inlay of Graph Tech TUSQ provides a clean intonation and a flat string position, while nickel-plated Gotoh White Button tuners provide tuning stability and precise tuning. Last but not least, a case is already included in the scope of delivery.
