With the J-45 Deluxe acoustic guitar in round-shoulder format, the traditional manufacturer from Bozeman, Montana, presents one of its famous custom store creations, which, in addition to numerous embellishments, feature high-quality, carefully seasoned materials and a powerful sound that fully lives up to the name "The Workhorse".

Woods and construction

The deluxe version is equipped with a fine-grained Sitka spruce top, which in combination with a flat scalloped X-bracing and a gauzy nitro lacquer finish ensures a clear and fast sound development. To enrich the tone with expressive bass frequencies, the back and sides are made of rosewood, which gives the instrument an all-over saturation. The flat mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard also offers a decidedly accommodating playability in all 20 frets, which are marked with intricate mother-of-pearl split-diamond inlays and intonate cleanly thanks to the 44 mm wide bone nut and the corresponding compensated saddle.

Pickups and accessories

Completing the Gibson J-45 Deluxe acoustic guitar is an L.R.Baggs VTC pickup system, which can be individually adjusted via a control in the sound hole and transmits the acoustic sound to the amplifier in a very natural way. The scope of delivery includes a sturdy case, a certificate and a Gibson Accessory Kit.
