The Gibson J-45 Red Spruce Sunsetburst was introduced in 1942, and is among the most played acoustic instruments in recording history.
The legendary Gibson J-45 gets a new coat of paint in this strictly limited edition. Accordingly, the solid Gibson J-45 Red Spruce Limited comes with an extremely warm sounding top made of Adirondack spruce and a body made of mahogany. It resonates with tight bass, nuanced and warm mids, as well as brilliant highs.
The Gotoh tuners ensure precise tuning, whilst the "slim taper" neck profile provides a soft and comfortable feel. In addition, a compensated bridge inlay made of Graph Tech TUSQ ensures clean intonation and a flat string position. The balanced sound is transmitted to the amplifier with the L.R. Baggs VTC pickup with natural warmth and dynamics. Last but not least, a case is included in the scope of delivery.
