The first Gibson J-45 came onto the market in 1942 as a high quality yet affordable instrument. With the current version Gibson continues the trend and offers the J-45 Studio with a solid top made of Sitka spruce as well as walnut in the floor and frame area. The tonal result is strong in mid and high frequencies, with a remarkably pronounced transparency and warmth.
For the expressive amplified sound on stage, the L.R. Baggs VTC pickup is available, which transmits the sound of the Western guitar with natural dynamics and harmonic balance. A compensated bridge inlay of Graph Tech TUSQ provides clean intonation and flat string position, while nickel-plated Grover Rotomatic tuners provide tuning stability and precision tuning. Last but not least, a case is already included in the scope of delivery.
