The Gibson J-45 Vintage 2016 6-String Acoustic Guitar Vintage Sunburst is a 6-string dreadnought acoustic guitar, featuring a thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top, with solid mahogany back and sides, a Palisander fingerboard, and comes with a Gibson USA hard case, and vintage sunburst finish. The J-45 is Gibson's best-selling acoustic of all time. Nicknamed "The Workhorse" and first introduced in 1942, this iconic acoustic has become the cornerstone of its round-shoulder, dreadnought line. World renowned for its full, balanced expression, warm bass and excellent projection, the 2016 J-45 has been refined to carry this legacy to new heights.

The vintage edition of this guitar features a thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top, with a solid mahogany back and sides. Additionally, this guitar comes with a vintage sunburst finish to add to its vintage charm. An improved feel is provided with a softened fingerboard edge to comfortably fit the contour of the player's hand. An enhanced finish featuring finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds for a high gloss finish is included. A smoother hand rubbed and oiled fingerboard and bridges is included to help the new penetrating and finishing oil last longer and maximizes wood’s natural vibrancy.
