The Gibson L-00 Standard (Vintage Sunburst) is an electro-acoustic guitar which features a solid Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. The combination of this with the small L-00 body results in a prominent mid-focused sound. Complementing the rich tone of the guitar is the LR Baggs VTC pick-up, which faithfully transmits the sound of the L-00 standard’s high dynamic range. The Gibson L-00 was developed in the 1930s and due to their sound and their playability have been an industry standard ever since. The L-00 standard is Gibson’s worthy successor to this guitar.
