Gibson L-00 Vintage 2018 Vintage Sunburst

The modern replica of the Gibson L-00 Vintage features the classic look and sound of the 1932 original, and thanks to the traditional Parlor body, the Gibson L-00 Vintage 2018 produces the amazingly strong mids that made the original so famous and popular. Accordingly, a massive thermally treated Adirondack spruce top provides the typical sound that the original appreciates in the blues and folk scene, then as now. The compact Parlor body and sides and back in mahogany provide clearly defined bass, assertive and nuanced mids, as well as extremely brilliant highs. This makes the L-00 body perfect for fingerstyle, blues, folk and light strumming.

The shortened scale length of 635mm ensures a lower string tension, which in turn results in an extremely pleasantly soft playability. A fretboard with a saddle width of 44.5mm leaves plenty of room for exuberant fingerstyle and the classic V-neck profile is very comfortable to hold. The nickel-plated Relic Strap Square machine heads ensure tuning stability, while a compensated bone bridge inlay provides clean intonation and a flat string position. Last but not least, an original vintage case is already included.
