The Gibson Les Paul Classic 2018 Goldtop is a 6-string electric guitar featuring a maple top, a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fingerboard and a gold top finish. This new Les Paul Classic for 2018 features the iconic body style crafted from lightweight mahogany, delivering sweet, warm tonal characteristics. Built with a mahogany body topped with maple that creates a smooth, dark aesthetic reflecting powerful deep tones, this Les Paul Classic features a slim taper mahogany neck and smooth rosewood fingerboard for a highly comfortable performance, sparkling highs and an open midrange.

A pair of classic P90 pickups deliver a vintage single-coil tone with a fat snarl and plenty of crunch and bite to cut through the mix. These pickups are fitted with classic soapbar covers and wired with independent volume and tone controls along with a toggle switch for a range of tonal versatility. A vintage ABR Tune-o-Matic bridge and Kidney Grover tuning machines offer solid string stability, whilst a Tektoid nut enhances harmonics in the highs and mids.
